I've walked passed this joint for years. It's situated on the 2nd floor of a walk-up by the mid-level escalator. It's been around for years. My assumption that it must have been really good.
Had a really bad craving for a big fat juicy burger yesterday and decided to pay a visit. Wanted something a bit more authentic than MxD burgers.
When I saw the pic they had on the street, I was like, "yea baby... bring me the big fat juicy burger."
Had a sticker shock when I saw their menu. Still decided to proceed with high expectations. Ordered the $98 set lunch menu.
I was deeply disappointed when my order was up. The burger was, let's say, very basic. Two slices of oversized (when compared to MxD) buns, a miniturized quarter pound meat, drowned in ketcup with a few slices of lettuce. Fries tasted as though they have been drowned in over-used oil. Any extra topping or cheese would cost you a bowl of wonton noodle.
The seats by the wndows are great for people watching though.
Overall, deeply disappointed with the quality of the food. Perhaps I had high expectations. The only thing that didn't disappoint me was the can of coke.
