It is in the basement entered from Peking Road. It offers typical Shanghainese food. We did not try the dim sum there but order the entree dishes. They taste good but to me are a bit salty. It retains the authentic Shanghainese cooking with more oil, salt and sugar.

The service is good. Although it is in a basement, once you are there, you don’t really feel about it.

Very busy restaurant, in the basement of 27 nathan rd. with a big ensign on the road so you can't miss it! Very nice menu and atmosphere. We had noodles, dim sum and shrimps, everything was well cooked and very good. Perfect quality/price ratio

This restaurant is always busy for a reason. The food is good. There was only to 2 of us, so we ordered the "Yuen Tai" or braised pork's leg in dark sweet soya sauce Shanghainese style. The fat melts in your mouth and the skin is so tender. The meat is very tasty and soft. The dish is served with plenty of vegetables. Mmmmm...! We also had Crystal prawns. With rice, that came to HK$340/-!, much, much better than the food at Nobu for HK$2,200/- plus!

Good Shanghai food and service, but not expensive. Still very original whilst many other similar restaurants have made changes to accomodate local tastes.

This time we ordered the drunken chicken, sauteed river shrimps, ham in a bun, duck tongue, braised river eel, siao long pao and banana fritters for dessert. The way they do the river shrimps and eel are incomparable to other shanghai restaurants in HongKong.
