“Worthy of all 3 Michelin stars”

The level of service that I received at lung king heen is the best I have ever experienced, anywhere.

Went in with my partner (who doesn't like Chinese food) for a weeknight dinner. Explained my seafood allergy to the waiter, who then went though the options.

Started with the aubergine amuse bouche, followed by the sucking pig which was divine.
For the main, we wanted duck in Peking style, but with just 2 people that is too much. The waiter suggested the half roast chicken, served with the Peking style pancakes, cucumber spring onion and plum sauce - OMG that was good chicken. Also has the veal in Mongolian spicy sauce which was also good.
Feeling rather full, we had opted to forgo dessert, but to our surprise the house had provided a delightful mango sago accompanied by a sweet Spanish dessert wine.
The service was attentive and professional but also with personality - will be back for the dim sum next time

“Worthy of more Michelin stars - Service par excellence”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Allow me to thank the staff once more for providing us with an impeccable dining experience during our visit to Hong Kong. Dinner at Lung King Heen on the 9th of August was the culinary highlight of our trip and we are missing this place badly.

Lung King Heen's staff were able to anticipate our needs and are very knowledgeable about the menu items. The wine match was spot on and the recommended dishes were unique and a class above the rest. Service in Lung King Heen is befitting royalty.

The appetizer combo of 4 choice items: roast goose, crispy suckling pig, bbq pork and steamed chicken with ginger did a very good job at heightening our appetite for the main course.

The main course was the star of the show. Now when you see Australian wagyu beef with mushrooms on the menu of a Chinese restaurant, what are your expectations of the taste and presentation of the dish? You're definitely in for a good surprise. The skilled chef elevates this dish many times over to give you the most tender beef you've ever tasted on a bed of an out-of-this-world sauce.

Desserts? The staff can tell we had a good fill and they were thoughtful enough to offer us a complimentary plate of assorted sweets and small cakes just in case we still had some room.

Lung King Heen won us over with the wine match and the delectable appetizers, sealed it with the main course, made a nice finish with the dessert selection and made history with their warm hospitality.

“So Nice !”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

Have been expecting a meal in this 3 stars restaurant for long and finally got a chance. Though my wife and I didn't order too much - need to take care the kid :( but we really enjoy the food and the services very much. Firstly impressed by the Chinese Tea recommended by the manager, following by the dim sum dishes with the wines well matched, the delicious desert concluded the meal. Reasonable price, great food, nice view, excellent services.

Just one issue... make early reservation!

Outstanding Chinese food and worthy of its 3 Mitchies! One of the best Chinese meals I have ever had. Service was exceptional and was very well paced - we had Sunday lunch which lasted for about 4 hours. I loved the fact that each dish ordered was served on its own so that you could really savour the flavours without feeling rushed. The Peking Duck was by far the best I've ever tasted (and I've tasted many!) and the Abalone Tarts were to die for. Thank you to the team at this restaurant, it was an outstanding experience in many ways!
