“Always good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2013

My Second trip to Super Star and was glad I went. The food was excellent as always, make sure you try the Xiaolongbao, but be careful to eat with a spoon as the inside is boiling hot, but unbelievably good. We had reservations and it was recommended. If you want to order the chef's tasting menu, be sure to do it in advance.

The wait staff was able to understand english, so we had not problems.

“Good eats in Hong Kong”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

The restaurant located in Times Square is the best one. Other locations are not as good. Take advantage of the discounts when you eat before 12 pm or eat after 9 pm. You'll save some money. Both dim sum and dinner are very good. Enjoy.....

“Authentic Cantonese fare”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

The dishes we had were authentic and taste delicious, although not the best I have tasted. We had dim sum and a selection of stir fried dishes. It was extremely busy, but not surprising as we went during lunch time. however, the business did not translate to slow service. On the contrary, the food came at a timely manner. We had a flower jelly for dessert and that was mild, delicate and extremely delicious.

“Relatively affordable and delectable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2012 via mobile

They serve dim sum here during all hours so if you are a diehard for dim sum even at night, you can check out this place. The staff are truly hospitable even though the restaurant is feeling a little aged. This is definitely one of their more traditional restaurants and you can feel it from the decor and numerous pictures on the walls. Go for the abalone dishes. Typically viewed as a delicacy, it is surprisingly affordable and very well prepared.

“Nice Dim Sum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2012

Not the best, but good enough if you are around and want to grab a snack. They hang lots of photos of famous people who have dined there, but I do't ealy bother. To me, it's more important that I get great Dim Sum.
