We had a great table upstairs and tried 2 of the signature dishes - the prawns and the duck - which were more than enough for the 2 of us. It felt authentic and there were lots of Chinese families dining which made for a good atmosphere. If you are staying at the Langham you should definitely try the restaurant

A little high on the price but delicious. Its a Cantonese fine dining, suitable for bringing business client. Foods are very rich in taste (some of them are a little too heavy) However, its worth a visit for at least once.

We were extremely disappointed with the food, the service and the decor. We ordered a set menu for one and my partner ordered individual dishes. Set menu was totally underwhelming.All corses lacked flavour, texture and presentation. Stuffed crab flavourless, stringy and presentation was non existent. I am embarrassed to say I had Shark fin soup as second course with juliene chicken, it once again had little flavour even with the vinegar provided with it. Third course lobster tail, was over cooked, tough, flavourless and the meat contained bits of shell, an unpleasant eating experience as the only way to get the meat was to rip it out with your teeth. Next Rib eye beef with Wasabi, apparently an award winning dish, this was the least offensive of all the dishes however there was only the tiniest bit of wasabi and the meat was more fat than meat and one chunk was very chewy. The lobster bisque with rice to follow had no lobster that I could find, was a watery tomato based soup with once again little or no flavour, very disappointing. Final course Cantonese peti four with fresh fruit, the mango was soft and nothing special, portugese tart was pleasant. Individual dishes Signature dish salted chicken and stir fried prawns were just OK but nothing more. Service was disorganised perfunctory and unprofessional, with dishes being served while still eating the pervious course. We were seated in a quiet part of the dinning area which was appreciated however, decor is very tired and unimpressive. Overall a totally disappointing experience especially as was highly recommended by numerous staff. It was certainly not worth the money.

We went here for my husbands birthday. In all honesty it was the end of the trip and we didn't want to go too far from the hotel. Additionally we saw some of these reviews and thought it would be easy and convenient. What an amazing restaurant! I can see how the is 3 Michelin stars. The service was impeccable. The food amazing. We had the T'ang chicken which is basically Peking duck chicken style. Followed by one of their award winning dishes - diced rib eye with wasabi- melt in your mouth beef; their sweet and sour pork. Delicious BBQ pork deep fried with the sauce. Lastly the fried rice. Overall very impressive. The wine list is extensive and expensive but there are a few great choices around the $HK800 mark per bottle.
They found out it was my husbands birthday and arranged a 'Cantonese birthday cake' whichever lotus seed dumpling - interesting but quite nice!
I would def recommend going here or the experience and food.
