“Le Granier á Pain in pedrestian Minzu Rd.”
Reviewed June 16, 2012 via mobile

The new café in the shopping center with the fancy brands (Louis Vuitton etc) is on 2nd floor. Open 10-10pm BUT the fresh goods get only in at noon. So it is not a good choice for breakfast with a fresh croisson or baguette. A pitty!

“Nice bakery, a rare real "bread" in China, Oasis for Westerners who seek for familiar bakery”
Reviewed June 9, 2012

The quality of the bread is good. The coffee isn't so impressive, but nicer than most of chinese and some franchise coffees. Will be better if they can provide the label in English for all items. Worth a visit if you are near, they open a corner in Chongqing Times Square.

“Outstanding pâtisserie in the middle of Chongqing”
Reviewed April 15, 2012

We had read encouraging reviews about this place, but were afraid that the address would be hard to find. As a matter of act, it's right in the city center, on the second floor of the shopping mall with Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Tiffany's and the like.
Of course, this is not really a restaurant: but for pastry at least as good as in France, or chocolate as good as in Belgium, with a nice cup of tea or coffee, this is the place to go in CQ.

“Real bread!”
Reviewed January 2, 2012

I've never had anything bad here. Sometimes the staff seem a little...slow, but if you get one of the guys who works there (or Cedric), you're usually in good hands.
