“Wow!”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

Peking duck was excellent and we loved how they served in prepare it. We took a lot of other smalls plates all yummy, actually is very worth to take a lot of them as you wait a bit for the duck as it's cooked to order.
Great decor, minimalist and fun.
Service: people are friendly

“Duck was really good”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

We thought of going local the first day of arrival and someone had selected this place. We were welcomed and given the huge menu and we choose 6 dishes .Duck, some green vegetables, noodles, and some drinks. The duck was costing little over 250 rmb and I wasnt sure how it will taste, but we finished it in about 30 minus. The duck soup, vegetables everything we paid about 700 yuan for 3 persons. The waiters were little grumpy sometimes as the restaurant was quite bussy and I can understand they were really running from one place to other. May be they apppoint few managers to look after customers as many times we were waving for attention but could not get the attention immediately. That is minor problem anyway.Book in advance as otherwise there was a queque during the peak dinner time.

“Great food and atmosphere”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

Was dining here with friends in a VIP room. Wonderful experience with bathroom an couches in the room. Food was excellent. Very pleased with the staff and how the food was presented. Certainly would go back here as it has some of the best Chinese food I have eaten. Can be pricey, depending on what you order. But should fit all budgets!

“Famous Peking Duck Restaurant does not disappoint”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

This restaurant is all about the show. the preparing and cooking of the ducks is the central attraction. As you wait for your table its fascinating to watch. This was not the best food I had while in Beijing but it was pretty darn close. This was a work trip so we all tried a variety of things and was an overall very enjoyable experience.

Very elegant restaurant. I saw lots of Western people eating here.
Service was excellent. I had traditional Beijing duck.
Very nice. Menu was a bit overwhelming.
