Decided to go on a Wednesday night. I opted for the 20:00 booking. The table for 3D is only 12 people so book in advance. There was only 1 other person in the room with me for that setting. Which was awesome. Therefore it was very private. We each had our own personal waitresses. Mine was Emmy and she was wonderful. Literally 1 waitress for the Chinese man and 1 waitress for me. It was really cool experience as it’s almost dinner and a show. The 3D petit chef travels around the world in search of Marco Polo dishes and the dishes match the journey. Very cool concept. Food was very good. Lamb was very tender, best I have had in China by far. It’s a signature dish. Very interactive including dry ice. Great experience for kids or adults. Highly recommend going as a family. Weekends are very busy, so weeknights are more intimate. Great for couples or for families. Aria is a beautiful restaurant. Very nice bar too, including outside seating. Chef Maiker, truly a culinary master!

We signed up for this special dinner just a little curious. It was a spectacular creative experience. The implementation, service and food were all exceptional. The 3D story was very cleverly done and didn't detract at all from the quality food. The staff were seamless and quietly proud. The wine matching complemented the food well and introduced us to some new wines. Well done to all involved.
Only comment is that mangoes aren't really local to the Himalayas!

I came with a friend for dinner because I always see article about your restaurant but never got the time to come over !
What a désappointement !! OMG your chef need seriously review is standard and the quality . My salad have 2 sardines from a teen and no seasoning, the halibut no seasoning and the saffron sauce was juste no good they try to give consistance with some agar or order powder who just give a very bad taste to the sauce, the purée served with it was so salty I can even tell what was the vegetable. I was just looking my watch and wish this diner ended ASAP yes because for one salad and one fish take 1h30.

I have frequented this restaurant for fifteen years, and it remains one of the most consistently fine western restaurants in Beijing. It is the go-to western restaurant for a business lunch in the CBD, and the dinner menu is varied, reliable and properly presented servig a mixed crowd of hotel guests and local Chinese and expatriates. I highly recommend this restaurant to any coming to Beijing and looking for an upscale break from the many fine Chinese restaurants.
