Almost no water pressure and limited hot water. Great breakfast included with my stay. Very friendly and helpful staff with the Hostel portion of the hotel, made evening plans quick and simple. Spoke english very well and knew the area. Room was about average, kind of small and secluded but the location made it easy to get around and see the sights.

Room tip: No good side for views, it is in the middle of Beijing, rooms are all about the same, nothing to make them stand out

This hostel was a good find. 5 mins walk (max) to tiannanmen square and the metro, and a dorm room with a private bathroom for 45rmb per night if you book on hostelbookers ..

The bar is sweet, despite having the grumpiest bartender in the world, and the view is awesome. Wifi in the bar and in the lobby but not in the rooms. The girls in the lobby are really helpful and will assist you with anything you need - tickets, directions, recommendations etc. Hot water is a bit tricky - you can get it in the bar if you've bought the food from the hostel (5rmb for ramen noodles), otherwise you have to track it down in the main restaurant. They also have a book exchange.

Rooms cleaned every day and beds are comfy.

Stayed here for 3 days in November 2012 with my wife and 3 other friends. The rooms are fairly small but sufficient. You wont spend much time there anyway. Bathrooms are clean and there's always a hot shower.

The hostel is located just down the road from Tianamen Square and numerous subway stations.

The staff are VERY helpful even though English is limited. They managed to help us with all our enquiries. They will even arrange sightseeing tours should you require them. They will also arrange transport to and from the airport or railway if needed.

Free wifi is available in the foyer as well as in the bar situated on the 6th floor. This is a no-frills-no-fuss bar serving all kinds of cocktails and beer on tap at very good prices. They also do a decent pizza. The view from the bar however is FANTASIC! The best view of any bar I've visited in Beijing, pariclarly at night. It overlooks Tianamen Square ect. A MUST see at night!

Be careful of the breakfast however. If u not sure of what you're about to eat, ask or leave it all together. We tried the breakfast once and rather avoided it from then on. There's a Starbucks just up the road close to Tianamen Square that's good for coffee ect.

All-in-all...this was a decent place to stay. Cheap, clean, relatively quiet, centrally located, helpful and competant staff...what more could you ask for.

Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Situated on a busy street the Hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but inside it is clean and economical. Good value and pretty friendly staff. The rooms are old and maybe the bathroom could do with some updating, but I didn't find this to be a problem. Half of the Hotel is a Hostel, but this is no problem and there is a good bar on the top floor and 2 rooms with Wifi access (no Facebook in China though).
Catch a Taxi to and from the airport, much cheaper option than booking a car.
