Beautiful hotel, very central its a short walk to the metro, shopping area and about 20mins to the Forbidden Palace.
Hotel staff were extremely helpful, the TV didn't work they came and changed this straight away along with helping us organise a trip to the great wall and giving us directions around town. I would definitely recommend hiring a driver for the day, all the tours only give you 1.5hrs on the great wall and then scoot you off to a jade factory, we spent the whole day there and stopped off at the tombs on the way back all at our own pace.
The hotel restaurant is also very nice, overlooking the court yard and roof terrace. Breakfast choice there is a good selection and there is one young chef cooking the food and running the bar morning and night, he is very accommodating and offers good service.
