What a way to end our China tour.

The facility is comfortable and modern. After 8 days on the road, this was a fitting end to wind down and prepare before going home. Nice shopping around town. Medical facility (international) a short walk away.

Concierge service is AWESOME!!! They provide "My Residence In Beijing" cards so that you can find your way back "home". On the reverse are some of the popular sites and shoping areas, in both Chinese and English.

Breakfast and dinners were ample and filling, though the refill service could benefit was a little extra attention and care. Great view from the restaurant of the hotel lobby and courtyard. Piano music is often played during meals.

Only minus, they change the room temperature setting. Beijing is humid, but coming back to the room even 20° C is rather chilling.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Regent Beijing and it was on of best hotels I have ever stayed. The rooms are fantastic and every amenity has been thought through. The staff are wonderful, particularly the concierge desk. Breakfast is delicious and staff are attentive. The location is very central with good shopping as well as being about a ten minute taxi ride to the Forbidden City. After a so so stay at Four Seasons Shanghai, this was a welcome relief to end my business trip.

Just wonderful hotel. Comfortable rooms with all the right amenities. Stayed here as part of Viking River Cruise tour and couldn't be happier. Quiet, luxurious and a great location makes this a great choice for down time from a busy city. Enjoy!

Room Tip: 750 had a great view if the street and was quiet.

This is what a FIVE STAR hotel is supposed to be.

My wife and I stayed here and loved it. It was the epitome of what I expect a 5 star hotel to be. Top notch service, impeccable and luxurious rooms, and the finest throughout. Great restaurant and bar areas. It was located downtown and we had easy access to everything. The downtown night market was an absolute must see "event" if you are not from China. The sights and sounds cannot be adquately described, but it is where I ate my first Scorpion, watched burbling pots of some food concoction that can't adequately be describe, and saw "Dog Meat Bowl" in english on one menu. You can also walk to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square which we did, and we loved. The Forbidden City is not to be missed but that is for another review. Also, simply watching the cars on the roadways right outside the hotel was a real treat. Cars and lots of bikes all like ants on a hillside. Traffic lights are more decorations than actual devices to control movement as most people simply come and go as they please while blowing their horn or ringing their bike bell.

Obviously, you get what you pay for so if you are looking to save money, then you should look elsewhere. I could elaborate more on this fine hotel, but why? If you travel first class, and expect the best, I don't need to. You can rest assured that is what you get from a hotel like the Beijing Regent.

Room Tip: Take time to simply watch out the window if you can see the roadways. Watching the cars and bike ri...

Rooms are good if you like the location then can book in here without worries. Like in most 5* hotels not exceptions here all nice decorated and in good shape. If need extra huminidy gadgets they will provide it to your room too as Beijing air mostly dry.

Located close to the Forbidden City. Only two blocks from the night market on Dong' Anmen Street. This was a beautiful and absolutely 5 star. The room had a large bathroom, mini-bar, every amenity and a fabulous restaurant. Loved the bar, although red wine is a bit expensive. You will never regret staying here.

Room Tip: All rooms are top notch.

What a beautiful hotel -- and what a terrific room!

First, the lobby of this place is simply stunning. That can happen at many hotels, but then when you get to your room it seems as though you're in a much different, less impressive place. Not so here! The rooms are spectacular, especially if you upgrade! It starts with the entrance to your room -- you don't swipe a card in the door; rather, you insert your card in a nice stainless steel panel on the wall next to the door, where you will also find your morning newspaper. Nice. But then, the room -- what a place! Wonderful bathroom, excellent layout, lots of space, and even a glass desk! Wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows! And an extremely comfortable bed, too. The room was extremely well appointed with top-quality materials and workmanship throughout.

Then there's the extraordinary breakfast buffet -- you'll need to walk all over Beijing to work off the calories you'll rack up here. It's an expansive selection of well-prepared food catering to nearly every taste -- Asian, American and European alike.

Really liked this wonderful hotel, and would highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers alike.

Room Tip: Get an upgraded room -- you will thoroughly enjoy it.
