I stayed at this hotel for one week for business. The rooms are spacious although not particularly stylis, and I loved the bathroom. It was nice to have yoga mats at the gym, and loved the massage service, although it was veeeeery pricey. The metro is rather close by, which was great as the traffic can be horrible.
On the downside, the staff was friendly but with very limited English (as is the norm for China), it was impossible to turn down the heat in the room (my colleagues staying in lower floors had the opposite problem) and having stayed in other 5-star hotels in Beijing in my previous trips, I must say that the breakfast here was a bit of a disappointment - the Chinese food in offer wasn't all that great and if you preferred having Western food, there was hardly any cheese etc. to be found.
The neighbourhood is really boring and there's hardly any restaurants nearby, so you easily get stuck in the hotel in th evenings. Thankfully the Chinese restaurant at the hotel was excellent.More
