Stayed 7 nights in the hotel. Found the pool and spa/ hot tub area dirty and in need of renovation.
People spitting on the floor at the pool.
Smoking rooms making corridor stink of smoke next to the Gym. Not 5 star service and overpriced.
Breakfast food was very good but the service was very poor. Overall found the staff did not have a friendly attitude. Noise from the next door room.

Dear Barry C,

Thank you for choosing the Westin Beijing Financial Street.

It is regret that we hear that your stay with us did not live up to your expectation and thank you for bringing the shortfalls in our product and service to our attention.

It is unfortunate that somebody seemed to have ignored our non smoking policy in the rooms and corridors on the floor where our gym is located.

Please accept our apologies for this.

Our team usually enjoys a very good reputation with regards to their attitude, courtesy and anticipation. We are sorry to hear that we disappointed you on some occasions and hope that you will give us a second chance to restore your confidence in us on a future visit to Beijing.

Be well,

Merlin Wilson

One of the best you can get on the west side of Beijing within 2 huan. You get what you pay for. Espeically the service, as when you pay that much money, you would want to be treated as a king. I would definitely stay there again.

This is an excellent representation of the Westin chain. Superb lobby and a fast check-in compliment each other. The room was spacious with plenty of closets, workspace and a large bathroom. Plenty of bottled drinking water and the shower is spacious. Bed was wonderful and the wife and I had a great 3 nights of sleep.
This was the best breakfast we encountered in China and dinner one night at the Senses Restaurant was the best buffet we encountered. Business Center on the premise, though internet is not cheap.
Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

When you thought you have given up on getting any attention in Beijing, this hotel surprises you. The staff are very attentive and seemed eager to please. I think the Financial Street is the least congested area in the city and at the end of the day, I like to go back to a serene and comforting hotel. The buffet dinner is great too. Loads of hot and cold appetizers, seafood perfect for me.

i wish to complement the team at westin financial for the excellent and consistent quality of their sunday brunches which are probably the best value in beijing.ok you can debate whether the icelandic oysters are better in the chaoyang than the virgin island oysters in the financial but the service and welcome is excellent in the financial.the chaoyang has an excellent seafood and desert station with a good welcome in a reduce areaat the bublicious.the exclusive welcome and dining at the st regis fails to cover the slightly inferior quality of the seafood station probably due to early prerparation of the station.otherwise in value for money beijing is top of the world at the moment.if only the same prices were practised world wide!

Dear cymro39,

Thank you for sharing your feelings about our Sunday Brunch here on Trip Advisor. We would agree that not only a personal preference related to the origin of the oysters should determine the overall value of a great brunch.

After all it has not only been once that our ‘Bubbly Sundays’ brunch has been honored as best hotel brunch in Beijing - and we strive to nurture this reputation.

With this in mind, it is refreshing to hear that all our efforts found your appreciation.

We thank you once more for your kind comments and recommendation and trust we will meet again on a “Bubbly Sunday’.

Stay well,
