stayed there for 3 nites with my hubby and 2 kids using discounted vouchers. i guess you get what you paid for. the hotel looked good from the outside but that's all there is. the day we came in, the lobby all the way to the elevator was reeking of foul smell coming from the lobby washroom. i have a weak stomach that's why i kept on gagging. we got a queen room with a tiny window on the side, the room smelled of cigarettes, bathroom was old and battered, broken tiles, hair all over, dirty soap holders, DIRTY AND FILTHY! i asked to be transferred to another room because i specifically requested for a NON SMOKING ROOM. i should have been forewarned....when they say it's non smoking room, they just remove the ash tray from the room...wasnt able to get my request bec. there were no more rooms available , yeah right! housekeeping guy went to our room to spray air freshener. was promised to be moved to another room the following day but i got too lazy to do that after all the walking we did at the great wall....but in fairness, beddings were clean and fresh smelling . however , our towels were not changed on our last day. housekeeping girl just folded our WET towels....oh well,,, re breakfast buffet which was at the rest beside the hotel, it was HORRIBLE,,,FILTHY...ETC. everything on the buffet table was exactly the same every morning. look for better hotels...pay more ...lol
