The Qianmen road offers many food restaurants and souvenirs shops. It is complete for tourist designed. But there was nothing I would remember after some times. It has many food shops with special dishes. It is ok to spend some time.
The houses are designed in old style and colors.

Also know as Zhengyang Men and behind it is the Arrow Tower. this was the entrance into Beijing at one time. Worth a short visit. You get a view of the city from here.

You will be impressed by the Qianmen pedestrian mall (recommended between 11:30 and 12:00) - it is hard to believe, but this pedestrian mall, which today is one of the most modern and organized streets in Beijing, was before 2008 like all the streets in the city. But when the Chinese heard they were going to have an Olympics, they rushed to renovate the street and turn it into a street that would suit the Western taste. Indeed, as you stroll along the Qianmen pedestrian mall, you will find a wide range of internationally renowned shops. If you want to see a little more "authentic" shops, make your way into one of the alleys that go from the main pedestrian mall.
How will you arrive? Take the subway line 5 and get off at the Chongwenmen station, where you will switch to Line 2 and finally get off at Qianmen Station. The station is located at the northern end of the pedestrian mall. To get there, you'll have to cross the road
