A tour of the campus is interesting, even if only to compare to your own experience. However, asking various students what they are studying and why (if possible) is vastly more illuminating.

Feeling impressed by how large the campus is, Tsinghua University is a lovely campus with lots of multifunctional buildings in it. By the entrance, you can see plenty of the representatives of Tsinghua’s technology businesses.

Once an elementary school student studying in Tsinghua’s primary school, I can tell that the campus is not only a center of high-tech but also a great place for a visual feast of natural sights as there are lots of lotuses in lakes which blossom in summer and gardens are managed gracefully.

It is also a center of cultural expressions, where museums arise and hold varied kinds of displays. One of the most famous museums on campus is the Tsinghua University Art Museum, where the works of the world scale artists put on exhibitions. For those who have chosen to take their children to experience the academic atmosphere inside the most famous university, this place is definitely worth a visit since the teaching buildings don’t give access to visitors.

Another distinctive feature of this university is that there are numerous cafés in it. According to a middle school teacher, 20 or more cafés are available, so bringing a good book and spend the whole afternoon reading with a cup of coffee is also a nice choice.

In my opinion, it is the top university of China. Very excellent students and faculty work there. Also, nice for tourists to walk around but do not be surprised to see many tour buses of people to come and visit.

In September 2016, this Beijing located museum opened to the public. It is a good place to go to relax and improve your temperament by viewing beautiful pieces of art. While I was there a business class group of students were touring the museum. The museum’s gross area is 30,000 square metres, and 9,000 square meters of exhibition space. The over 13,000 collections include, among other, more than 1,400 components of paintings and calligraphy, 2,700 components of ceramic, 4,600 components of weaving embroidery, and 140 components of furniture.

For 2017, the university is ranked as the 14th best in the world, and the Gates Foundation tis funding an institute on drug discovery. It ranks first in the world for engineering and computer science, outranking even Massachusetts Institute if Technology (MIT).
