Had high expectations. Restaurant is in a large plot of land with an interesting garden containing statues of animals. Three large horse statues found their way to the inside next to the huge video screen which commanded the middle of the restaurant. We sat at a table in front of the screen watch the owner of the restaurant in his travels around Europe. He was having a better time than we were. The duck was ok, food not worth the hassle.

A classic Beijing experience, in a modern setting. This is a rather expensive dinner place best experienced with a group. Cocktails are outstanding.

Terrible service, as foreigners were treated like third class customers.
They ignored Au as best as they could

I had a the recent pleasure of eating at Da Dong in Beijing. Our large party ordered many dishes and enjoyed them all. The duck is the star but the snow beef and house made yougurt were equally as good. While Da Dong is on the upper end of pricing as far as eats go in Beijing it is a wonderful experience with delicious food.
