“A warm welcome”
Reviewed September 21, 2013 via mobile

Ideally located opposite the Forbidden City this little place serves the nicest green tea I've ever tasted. Who I believe is the owner was a very kind man, very helpful and generous. We came for breakfast and a cheese and ham toastie was a welcome change from rice and vegetables first thing in the morning! Perfect for resting your feet and watching the world go by.

“Nice, clean and friendly”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

Oasis is small, clean and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. In a city where bustle is the standard, Oasis - as the name suggests - offers somewhere calm and quiet to enjoy a drink and breakfast. The green tea we were served was probably the best we have ever had and our breakfast sandwich filled a hole. The price was fair and the service was prompt and polite. I would recommend a visit if you are looking for something easy in the centre of the city, quite literally within a stone's throw of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park.

“Don't miss this germ”
Reviewed September 19, 2013

Very cozy, quite and low-key, centrally located, this germ is right across the street from forbidden city and 老北京炸酱面。 The owner couple were super friendly and the latte i ordered was delicious. I had a college roommates reunion over here in a sunny September afternoon, we sat there, opened the window, watching the people passing by, you can have a peek of the red wall of forbidden city.

It was really very very good coffee!!! The guy knows what he is doing:) The owner is really very nice and speaks English. Oasis café has very nice location, near forbidden city. The local is designed in a very warm and nice style, there is also Wi-Fi. If you are in Pekin you cannot miss that place!!!
