“Brand new hotel”

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. It is brand new, well located and with a staff that speaks perfect english. They are extremely helpful for anything you need. We organized our visit to the great wall to Mutianyu and it was just perfect! Without any second thought you can stay there.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the temple are quiet with a nice view

Stayed here on the recommendations of TripAdvisor and found it everything it was reviewed to be. Staff is very friendly and motivated to make your stay the best it can be. Since it's a new hotel the furnishings are very clean and modern. I asked to change rooms since mine was located above the bar area and they accommodated my request even filled to 80% capacity.
The drawbacks are the same as most every Chinese hostel; walls/door are very thin (carry noise easily into rooms) and the bed is only a box spring (making it a hard mattress). As I travel to China frequently I'm used to this and it really can't be avoided in Chinese style hotels.
I will return here if I can get the same price or close to it.

Room Tip: Rooms on third floor are quieter.

I had booked a reservation with Happy Dragon hostel because of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor, and had noticed that some reviewers were moved to a second location with little explanation. This happened to me, and I was a bit skeptical.

I am SO glad that I was moved.

Spring Time Hostel resembles more of a hotel than a hostel. In fact, only the prices seem like a hostel. It was modern, clean, inexpensive, and had a great location just in front of a subway station and 20 minutes walk from the Forbidden City. More restaurants and bars than you could ever visit are within a few minutes by foot/taxi/subway.

Polite and helpful, and also refreshingly laid back (as opposed to some of the stuffier hotels where I've stayed in China), the staff answered all questions and check-in and out were easy.

This is a great option for visitors who want hostel prices but the quieter environment of a hotel. I will definitely stay here again for the value, location, and nice rooms. The cleaning staff was a bit noisy in the morning...but that was a small price to pay for the other perks this location offers.

This hostel is brand new so everything works quite well. There are some things still being set up such as the food service and it looks like they are bringing in computers as I write this. The location is right by a subway so transportation is very close. The hostel is set back from the street so it's very quiet. The walls are paper thin so if you have noisy neighbours it could be a problem.
The beds are hard but everything else, they're new.
Lots of trash just outside the front door so you really have to watch your step, just like everywhere in Beijing.

Great location and nice room(room is very big, and comfortable bed). It just takes 20 seconds from the subway station. It is in the city center near Forbidden City, Wangfujing, Qian men Street, Temple of Heaven. Staff is very helpful, and speaking good English.

Nice room, comfortable bed. I would like to take a pillow because it's better than mine at home... It's clean and quiet.

The service takes care about the customer. We used the laundry service of the hostel who's good. They also booked some restaurant for us because we don't speak chinese.

Everything was smooth and nice. The hostel is close to many smalls shops and 2 lines of subway. If I come back in Beijng I will probably come back on that place. They also suggest some excursions. We didn't did but it's nice to have that possibility. They also suggest to rent some bikes.

Thanks to the manager who's a nice person. And thanks to the team who has a good english, it's not like that everywhere in China and it's really helpfull.

all was perfect!see you soon "Spring Time Hostel" team
