the interior was nice,
I didn't eat there, but wanted to watch the Barcelona - Real match that was transferred live on midnight,
too bad they close at 1 am, we had to go to our hotel lobby to watch it.
the bar was good though

“Ok Food, Nice decor”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013

I ate at this restaurant on my last night in Beijing as it was less then a block away from my hotel. The first impression was nice at it will definitely remind you of a classic Irish pub, service was good, by Chinese standards, which means soso for Westerners. I was disappointed by the food. I ordered the cheese sticks and a Cheeseburger/fries. The Cheese sticks were tasteless ( served with cranberry sauce??? hmm) and the hamburger meat tasted, well not like any hamburger I ever have eaten. Not bad but can't say good either. The Burger also reminded me more of a Slider in size so not a very filling meal. Overall Average.

“Thought this would be better than it was”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

this place is so over priced it's a joke. The cost of most things in China is so cheap westerners get spoiled, so to come to this place and get western prices was the most authentic thing about it.

“It's not complicated....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013

It's an Irish pub in China. And it feels like an Irish pub "in China." If you want an authentic Irish pub, go to Ireland. If you don't want Chinese-like levels of service, don't come to China. If you find yourself in Beijing with a Guinness fix, come here. It's the best ...likely only...option you'll have. And it's totally fine.

“Not anything like an Irish Bar”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

I went here with my wife as it was near our hotel in Beijing. We wanted a few drinks and some food as we were jet lagged and our tour of Beijing started early the following morning. The food was very average, the beef tasted rotten and the fish was undercooked. We were charged the equivalent of €5 for a small bottle of water. There were no Irish staff or customers. The cheapest glass of wine was €9. This is a sham Irish bar.
