Ritan Park is a wonderful respite from the bustle of Beijing. Located in the embassy area, the surrounding neighborhood is quiet and nice for walking. The park is beautiful and peaceful and a wonderful place to spend an hour or so.

One average park really. Nothing special, and really meh.. If you like to watch people doing tai-chi, line dancing etc, sure - but really you can do that anywhere and this place is nothing to brag about. Standard

Ritan Park is not as well-maintained as the other parks in Beijing and it is not as lively with locals either.

This was a mile from my hotel but it is a good park, away from the rush of the city and a good place to just slow down and recharge. It was pretty cold out a little windy, but this would be a good place for a summer afternoon.

I'll probably go back here if I come back to Beijing.

We went here on a lovely late November morning no smog it is peaceful to walk around with a lovely lake to sit and have a chat or just sit quietly ,on your walk around the park you will come across the locals doing there morning exercises join in at the back you might get some strange looks but you will also get plenty of smiles it harder than it looks but great fun. There are some lovely buildings to look on your wander round a peaceful setting in such a busy city worth a visit.
