A wonderful park to wonder through and just watch the Chinese playing board games, exercising, playing shuttle cock and so many different buildings to look at within the park area.

Absolutely beautiful. Big buildings for ceremonial in older days. Ceremonial only for the emperor on some certain times. There are many locals around the premises.. We can see them interact with each other through dance, sport, music and games... What a rare view. I love it. There is tablet inside of the temple. Great way to understand emperor's beliefs and how the ceremony is held in the old days.

We visited the Temple in October 2013. It was very crowded (there is a Chinese national holiday early October - try and avoid). Excellent example of Chinese Oriental work and well worth a visit.

This park is huge the roofs of the temples are blue! Not yellow or red like everything else in China.
Travellers crowd and scrum to look inside the temples, but the way to enjoy these chinese temples is at a macro level, not by peering at the interiors. Sit back and appreciate the symmetry.

We not only did the temple, we went to the art gallery and purchased a silk painting done by the students. Some very talented artists.
