Another place which I usually visit during my stays in Beijing is - Temple of Heaven with its big park. It is very beautiful during all seasons. Must see.

“Beijing trip”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

The Temple of Heaven was very historical and a site to behold (though it was extremely cold and icy the day we visited). There is quite a bit of walking between the buildings but definitely a must see.

“Nice park”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Its basically an open park with an attraction. There is a big park ground and some buildings where retirees congregate. In the afternoon we saw some mid aged women dancing in the park and some old men playing some kind of Chinese Poker. Its a good place to walk around and a nice place to cap an otherwise hectic tour day.

“Must Visit”

Enough Said. This is way better than visiting Yonghegong . If you have children with you, do pack a few toys and sandwiches there is ample space for them to play,

“Pretty cool!”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

Went here in the late afternoon. It was still hot but it rained later on in the afternoon but cleared up again. The weather can be unpredictable though. Not too many tourists there when we went which was good. I would say spend about and hour here tops. You don't wanna get sucked in with the vendors selling you stuff so look at the impressive temple and be own our way! :)
