“Great park. ”
Reviewed October 3, 2012 via mobile

The park is really nice to just walk around. If you have gone to other temples in Beijing I would suggest not getting the through ticket and just walk around the park. Also it is right across the street from the pearl market if you want to bargain for some souvenirs.

“Iconic place to visit”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

I was amazed of how well care is this place, take your time to enjoy nature, arquitecture, history and culture of this area. As I mentioned in others reviews, I do not recommend to go with Tour, They only let people to walk for an hour top, and this place must be walk on your on pace. Many opportunities to get beautiful pictures, and If you're lucky you'll see people doing katas and kungfu.

“A Huge Park -World Heritage Site”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

This is a huge park quite accesible by public transport in Beijing. The grounds are used by locals to do morning exercises and singing. One of the World Heritage Sites in Beijing that a tourist must not miss when visiting this Chinese city.

“Another Temple”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

As you walk through to the Temple of Heaven, it is very nice to stroll through the park and take in the local activities. There were a few people selling things, playing games and playing instruments.

The temple is a beautifully designed and painted building. Make sure you look inside and take it all in. It is good for some photos, but really not that much to do and see there.

“Postcard-perfect Photo”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Seen the Temple of Heaven on countless Beijing postcards. Absolutely worth the trip there. Buy the all-inclusive ticket and go early to avoid the crowds - spent some time in the surrounding park and it was fascinating to see the locals line-dancing, playing various forms of sports, singing, exercising, etc.
