Great Hotel, staring from check in till check out, it was a great experience. All the staffs are very attentive and help full, always wiling to help. Room was very clean and maintained. Free internet provided with good speed. Room service was fast and delicious. Food was served warm.
Receptions staff are very helpful to show the side seen and shopping areas, every hotel security made sure we get a safe taxi to travel.

Breakfast was not upto five star standard, rooms service staffs should improve their language skills, found difficult to communicate in English.

This was our first visit to Beijing and having such a good base made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms were a good size and had all the services you would expect. The breakfast was excellent and the service in the bar was very good. We had a 10 minute walk to the nearest underground station and as ALL tickets were 2 yuan (about 20p), we used the system extensively. It was a 5 minute ride to the Forbidden City and Tianenmen Square. The Olympic site could also br easily reached by the underground. Our pre-booked trip to the Great Wall, picked us up from the hotel. We noticed that Emirates use the hotel for their staff. You could find places to eat within 10 minutes walking. If I went back to Beijing, I would use this hotel again.

Room Tip: The grounds at the back offer better views than the busy road at the front

Just got back from China. Was there for 10 days. 5 at the Radisson Blue Beijing where the service was excellent, the room clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. The restaurant was elegant, the waitresses attentive. As for the food, the starter was yummy, the main course not bad and the dessert to die for. The hotel is very close to the China international exhibition centre so useful on a work trip but also close to boutique shops as well as a mall. Enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

Room Tip: The views of the street are not that great but for a hotel to stay on a business trip, the views are not paramount, are they?

I won't repeat too much of what has already been said by others. Its comfortable, clean, a bit dated in a 1990s way. The Chinese staff I found a bit shy with poor English. If I needed help I tended to look for one of the Swedish interns they have around who were helpful.

My only negative is the room service food which is average quality but tiny portions. Order twice as much as you think you need. Even my coffee pot was only half filled. The Carrefour supermarket round the corner is handy for snacks, drink and sushi and there is a fridge/kettle in the room.

If this hotel is in the area of Beijing you need, and you get it for a good price then go for it. Otherwise I'd be tempted to try elsewhere.

Booked directly at clubcarlson.com, excellent price for value, not to mention that Gold Members enjoy -15% off of all consumed at the hotel, great restaurants (good price for value), specials such as Happy Hour from 06.00 to 08.00pm (Buy 1 Get 1 For Free), room-upgrade and welcome gift for Gold Members. Great opportunity to invite friends, colleagues to the hotel for drinks and breakfast / lunch / dinner. Swimming pool and sauna was great, not to mention that the hotel has squash and ping-pong facilities, fitness center and a pretty nice garden. (BBQ during weekends is just awesome and fun with friends!) Will come again, Beijing is one of the best cities in the world, but still Dubai comes first! :-)

Room Tip: Book directly at clubcarlson.com and check out the benefits for Red, Silver and Gold-Members (such as free hotel nights, discounted rates starting from 10,000 points (5000 points / night on average / night)
