This hotel is very close to Bird Nest, the Olympic Stadium. I really enjoyed its location. It is conveniently located in the 4th ring, and all taxi driver knows where it is. It's a nice experience. The rooms are clean and nice. I would recommend this place to friends. Oh, just want to mention I also spotted some movie stars. An extra bonus. ;)

I' m staying in Beijing for the first time, and we choosed Crowne Plaza Park View.
Everything is Ok at this hotel, but only one thing.
At the breakfast, they don't serve any Chinese Tea, but only English Tea. (twinings)
I asked but it wasn't possible. It is very strange we are in China.
I have been it's possible only at Palm Garden Cafe.

Room Tip: For the room choosed the side of the city and not the back or roof side. Very bad view.

Thanks for choosing our hotel and thanks for your comment. We are very happy that you enjoyed the stay here. There maybe some misunderstanding for the tea serve of breakfast buffet, we do provide Chinese tea (green and red Chinese tea) for free. We look forward to welcome you again soon and offer better and more personalized service for you.

I stayed 3 nights during a business trip to Beijing and had chosen this hotel for its location near to the company I was visiting. The hotel is located near the Olympic stadium and it can take up to 1.5 hr to reach the old part of the city. On the other hand, the airport is only 35min away.
Rooms are large but somehow they feel a little bit dated. Service is reasonably good. Breakfast buffet is also ok. Overall good, nothing truly remarkable but also nothing wrong.

Thanks for keep choosing our hotel during your stay in Beijing. And thanks for your kind comment to our buffet and service. Your appreciation will encourage us to keep aiming higher. By the way, it should take within 30 min by taxi from our hotel to the city center, like Tiananmen Square, in the normal traffic condition.  We look forward to welcome you again soon.

I stayed 8 nights at this hotel at the end of October. The Superior room was nice and clean, and there is nothing to complain about. Their lunch buffet is great, especially the grilled lambs and Thai food corner. The restaurant's sous chef was very attentive and recommended several nice dishes.

The only downside is that they couldn't get the room temperature in the meeting room and guestroom right. On my first night, the temperature in the room was very warm, and there is no way I could adjust the temperature on their remote control. They eventually got someone to open the window with a small wrench and this somewhat addressed the problem. The meeting room has a nice setup although the one we used didn't have windows with natural light. The room is either too hot or too cold, and there is no way we could adjust the temperature by ourselves. I like their Chinese tea served during the meeting's breaks, but found that some of the snacks/ appetizers are similar to the one served at breakfast. Perhaps they could be a bit more creative with the menu.

Staff at the concierge desk were really helpful, and were very knowledge about the sightseeing places in Beijing.

On a rainy day, I had a hard time catching a taxi from the hotel to go into town, so I ended up taking a public bus which was quite convenient. I took bus number 108, and got off at a subway station that is not too far away.

The overall stay was pleasant but do not kid this is absolutely overpriced considering the cost of living in China. For example, the breakfast in the hotel cost 25 USD per meal. The food was excellent but why pay that price when you can get good meals outside for ten times less of the price! And even for that price, the internet is not free! Reception staff speaks very limited amount of English. They can't even respond on basic questions concerning the room, currency exchange etc. I know it's China but for the price surely the hotel can afford paying staff who can communicate English well. It's a large business hotel in Beijing afterall! The location is also not great. It is in the business district but it's so far away from many attractions. Nothing is within the walking distance. Even the Olympics stadium is at least 20 mins of fast walk away! That's what it claims to be close to. Also, they have the air-con turned on so highly that it gets so hot and stuffy. All my colleagues had troubles sleeping and even sitting in the conference room was unbearable. I would avoid staying in this hotel unless you have meetings in the international convention centre which is next door. But if you have more nights to stay, make sure you spend a few nights elsewhere near to the old city too. It's a lot more interesting, traditional and charming!

Clean, elegant, good rooms and excellent buffet. Having stayed in many CPs around the world, this is certainly one of their better ones. Was lucky to get an upgrade but nevertheless, having just spent the previous 3 nights at the Great Wall Sheraton, this was just what I needed for a business trip. Clean and tidy room, good unobtrusive service, excellent buffet breakfast. The only problem was slow Internet connection, but this is China and all hotels seem to be blighted by this

The purpose of my trip was a conference close to this venue (Beijing international convention centre) so it was very easy to walk to (5mins).

The area surrounding this hotel is very quiet and expensive, malls with ritzy shops like Cartier, so it takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the heart of Beijing by taxi (only costs about 35 RMB). If you want to experience the subway you have to get a taxi (about 10 RMB) to the nearest stop depending on which train line you need.

The food at the hotel was really good quality and quite reasonable for hotel prices, about 100 RMB for a meal and drink. The breakfast buffet is amazing so try to book with that included in the room price.

There is free wifi in the first and second floors which was great to check things before you leave. I recommend mobilenative.com so you can take a screenshot of a correct mandarin translation of where you want to go to (so you can show taxi drivers).

Concierge was excellent and provided us with a map and tips on travel time, taxis are frequent and the room was lovely, clean and smelt nice and the bed was very comfortable.

My one serious complaint would be the room temperature. The aircon was pathetic and we felt quite hot all the time (even though we had set it to 9C!). And our swipey cards (key) for lifts and our room took ten tries before working which was a bit annoying.

We also booked a tour to the great wall/mings tomb through the hotel, which, although pricey compared to other tours, was excellent, the tour guide was entertaining and spoke english well. It cost 470 RMB, an average quality lunch was included.

The gym was average and free, although we didnt use the pool.

Overall we had a great stay here, but I would recommend a hotel closer to the middle of the city if you are a tourist (travelling in peak hour was very slow to get back to Wuzhou).
