We stayed here for 3 nights before flying on to Zhengzhou for our international adoption of 2 boys. Our agency recommended we stay here. The room was fairly small but still worked out for our family of 4. The breakfast buffet was great! Lots of choices, both Chinese food and more Western-styled breakfast choices.
The hotel is walking distance to a 7-11 where you can buy snacks and sodas. There is a Peking Duck restaurant across the street. The night market is just a few blocks away. We actually tried food at the night market, but only bought drinks that were either bottled or in a can---don't get drinks that have ice or that you suspect have water added to them.
Also---get the Chinese acupressure foot massage at the spa in the hotel! The price can't be beat and it was THE BEST foot massage I've ever had as far as relieving pain in both feet. I have problems with both feet after years of running and this massage was amazing! I climbed the Great Wall the next day and my feet felt great! A lady in our travel group had the massage and she said it was also good but it sounded like it wasn't as great as my foot massage!More
