Good but as others say - it falls into that 'okay' middle ground.

I was staying nearby and tried to pop in a couple of times but they did not open before 12 - despite being there! When I did make it I only stopped for a coffee (which was nice). Good to get a break from the hustle bustle of the the hutong.

The service is fantastic. Problem is, if you order 100 yuan of food (an entree and a shared appetizer) you will still be starving after the meal. The portions are ridiculously tiny— small even for the most trendy restaurants. My Ratatouille (40 yuan) had about 6 small pieces of vegetables, and the other meat-based dishes (60 yuan) had even less substance. Even the bowl of rice was small :(

Save yourself the money and get a dish at a local Chinese restaurant. Prices are half, portions are doubled, and the food quality will be similar.

I used to like that place before, the mix between Vietnamese and French dishes, nice Bistro feeling. but recently both service and food quality have had a step down.
The price are not cheap though. I really hope that for the summer they will be back as before so we can enjoy their outside area.

Great selection of both Vietnamese and French food. Personally went for the French food, classic dishes, good sized portions. Would recommend the Beef Bourguignon and the chocolate fondant! Cosy atmosphere inside restaurant and perfect rooftop for the summer. Definitely worth a visit, would recommend to all.

Have been to this restaurant hoping to find something French or Vietnamese...found neither of these...The place is kind of falling apart...it was a Saturday night, and there was barely people in there...very few young locals, and that's it...it has no charm whatsoever, I have expected at least that based on the reviews I have read...it was very disappointing...I opted for Vietnamese dish and French desert (Tarte Tatin)...the food was okay to get by if you are hungry...no good but not terrible...the service is acceptable for this kind of place...Overall, it is not worth getting the trouble to find a cab to get you there, you can find better food in Sanlitun area. This is definitely not a gem as I have read somewhere....
