Service was non existent not due to wait staff numbers. We ordered a hamburger and chocolate cake it took 2 1/2 hrs. The food was so so but the mix ups on food missing waiters made the evening VERY frustrating and they add a 15% gratuity! ! For such an amazing hotel that type of restaurant is disappointing. Don't bother over priced and horrible service.

we had dinner-the brunch, the wild prawns are very large and tasty, the organic chicken melts in my mouth, the chinese style ribs is so tasty and melts in my mouth. the pasty is so good, tasty and not too sweet. so much better than the best hotel food in adelaide of anywhere in australia maybe equal to claud (aud 500 p couple) or neil perry in sydney (aud 400 p couple)
and it is not crowded like good hotel restaurants like in spore, adalaide, sydney, melbourne, tokyo, cos the locals here still have not caught with locals overseas, but they will soon, so better get in quick and enjoy in really not crowded
we satyed at hilton and bought the breakfast and dinner deal-its really so good-get this and start enjoying, there is really no reason to go without in your business or leisure trip to beijing wiith so many restaurants to chose from and they are all so good.-enjoy and live a little longer

Visited as a large group on Easter Sunday for the "fizztastic" Sunday brunch.
Buffet style arrangement with an impressive choice of food available shellfish, duck, salad, pizza, pasta, sushi etc. In addition, lobster was available to order from the staff.
Equally impressive was the Easter themed dessert display which had clearly had a lot of time and effort put into it.
Champagne was regularly topped up by staff and cocktails (mojitos and cosmopolitans were also available from the bar). Entertainment was provided for the children (and the adults!), magicians and chinese calligraphy writing and a jazz band provided music for the afternoon.
The day lasted from 1130 - 3pm and at approximately £50 per person, i felt this was good value and a great way to catch up with friends.

Food was very bad and price quite high for Beijing. The chicken in charcoal was very weak and had a strange taste, the mashed potatoes as well and the Hilton Ceasar salad close to a joke. Bread is a bit "plastified" but not easy to find better around Beijing.

The space is nice but I was looking for food not interior decoration.

It was not delivering a good image of Hilton food and Portuguese food at all.

I had the African grilled chicken (which was not grilled at all, rather roasted...ARGH!) and the sauce was interesting but not interesting in a "yum" way. The mashed potatoes were supposed to be black truffle flavored but had no truffle in them whatsoever. Very very disappointing...especially for the large price tag. The fried rice with chorizo must have had a total of a 1/3 of an ounce of chorizo (no lie) and was entirely too oily. Though the black olives were a nice touch.

I would not return.
