“Fancy spa, great hot water pools”

Located near IKEA, this place was a treat! Spa ticket without dinner costs 199 RMB per person, and it's worth the money. Several different pools, different sections for japanese-style bathing and south-asia style bathing plus the hot spring pools (35-41 celsius degrees). Only one of the outdoor pools was in use on March, but still, an outdoor hot pool!

The staff does not speak english. And we did not speak mandarin, but that was not an issue. Here's how it goes: After buying tickets, the staff will guide you to changing rooms. Show your locker number to a staff member there, and she/he opens your closet. Take your clothers off, take a towel and your swinmsuit and go to the shower rooms. After showering, you're ready to put on your swimming gear and hit the pools. Note: You have to be naked among other naked people (of course, different changing and shower areas for women/men). Chinese seem to have a very relaxed attitude on nakedness. And it's important to wash yourself carefully before bathing in the warm and hot pools, as you can imagine it's more hyqienic that way. Towels and shampoo etc. are included in the price.

There are snack and drink bars at the pool area and even their own brewery! We tasted their black and yellow beers, that means, dark and lager ones, very tastefull! Your orderings will be put on your bill, you pay when you leave. Smoking is allowed at some areas.

We took a taxi there and back, that was the easiest way and not that expensive.

I didn't stay at the hotel, only went to the hot springs. I must say the hot springs were very well designed and visual impressive. The amount of things to do was really great.
But I couldn't find many things in English and the key system for the locker room was a little ridiculous. First of all you can't open your locker with the locker key you're assigned, you must find an attendant every time you want to open your locker. Second, they ran out of clothes that you must wear to go to eat on the second floor and then when we did get clothes, they told us there were no seats for us to eat at and we needed to wait (even though we saw lots of people just walk around the attendants and go on up.) There were a few service people that really went out of their way to help, but if they just had some signs in English we wouldn't have needed so much help!
