This is authentic Greek food. My wife and I arrived in Beijing, having spent ten days in Greece the month prior, and we fell into this place by accident.
The owner is a Greek expatriate who has lived in Beijing for 30 tears, speaks beautiful English and Mandarin, and has just the right temperament for a restaurant owner--friendly, confident, engaging, but not overbearing.
Every plate is beautifully presented. On our first visit, we loved the mezze plate, lamb skewers, and moussaka.
We returned for a second meal within ten days, had the mezze plate again, a fabulous lentil soup, a so-so Greek salad (the dressing was tasteless), followed by a delicious lamb shank served with orzo.
On both occasions, we split a bottle of excellent wine for about US$30.
Relaxing, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended. Bring some friends and enjoy slow eating!
