A great hotel in a great location! We walked to the hotel from Beijing Railway Station, where we found the hotel on a busy main road. The staff were extremely friendly on arrival, and spoke enough English that check-in wasn't a struggle.
We got a room with a kingsize bed, which after spending a week on the Trans-Mongolian Express was possibly the most comfortable bed we could of dreamed of. The room was pretty big and had a big TV, a desk with an internet connection and our own tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was big too, with a massive walk in shower. The A/C worked fine too which was always nice.
Our room was on the west side of the hotel on a busy main road, however we never had a problem with sound from outside and we even had a great view of Beijing from our windows.
The hotel staff were always friendly, and hailed a taxi for us to take us to the airport when we left. Every day the room was re-stocked with toiletries and free water. The food in the hotel was expensive in comparison to the rest of the city, but was still really nice.More
