Think Six Flags in the US. Lots of great rides and very clean. Since we visited in the winter-time, many attractions were closed for refurbishment or because of the high winds, but of those that we did get to enjoy, we felt they were quite safe and well-maintained. We love roller-coasters, so we wanted to ride Crystal Wing -- it is one of the new coasters that you ride face-down -- and it was a thriller! We have visited many amusement parks in the US, including most of the majors, and this one is well-worth the effort if you are in Beijing. And, the cheap price compared to US parks is just an added bonus! The only drawback is the limited food selection -- every restaurant pretty much serves the same Chinese fast-food selections.
