This is one of the most amazing bridges that you will get to see if you booked the right tour. Going on the bridge isn't really wonderful, it's just a bridge. That's not the point, the way that this bridge is built is beautiful and it's one of the most breathtaking scenes you will see in your life.

This is a beatiful old bridge gapping the Summer Palace and the adjacent island. We liked especially the little sculptures of lions surrounding you on almost every step. It is one of the amazing things to see at the Palace, so make sure you don´t miss it.

Seventeen Arches Bridge is in the summer palace. It's the best view in the park. The best time visit there is spring and autumn. Summer is too hot and too crowded. So don't go there in summer even it's named "summer palace" :)

There are many amazing sights at the summer palace, the seventeen arches bridge is yet another one of them!
Unfortunately we were not there when the sun was shining, it was more a hazy mist. However the bridge looked equally stunning through the mist. Even though the water wasn't clearly visible, the clearly bridge stood out, which made it look quite spectacular, as if it was floating!
You can take a boat out to get closer, equally you can just enjoy the view from the water's edge.
