“Cool, but not a must-see.”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

Nice place to see some local art and grab some food — but it's fairly modern and nothing incredibly different from what you'd see in a fairly affluent area of the US. Was kind of out of the way in proximity to other places.

There is a large market for glasses nearby, so check that out if you're looking for some cheap eyewear.

“Nice area to spend a Sunday”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

The 798 Art Zone is a totally different Beijing, it's packed with galleries, nice shops and cozy cafes. A very good location for a Sunday; just to walk around, have some lunch and some drinks.

“Fantasic space with plenty to discover”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

You may need to go back a couple of times. Exhibitions change regularly and it is impossible to cover the whole area in one day
