“Great Entertainment”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

Our tour guide literally told us, "see it, you'll like it". We caught the early show and loved it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great change of pace after a long day of touring the historical sights. It really it quite a show!

“Top notch show (let own by venue and lighting technicians)”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

This show would be a sellout in London. Top notch acrobats, fast paced with good variety. 60 min run time with no intermission. The acrobats are, however, let down by a dingy town hall-like venue reminiscent of something you might see in Soviet Russia (or a venue I recently attended in Croydon). Weirdly, these great acrobats get little applause fom the audience other than the Westerners (who were a minority when I attended) tonight.

The venue, as I noted, was drab. Lighting didn't compliment the acrobats. How they could not find more lighting talent in a city of 15 million is beyond me. And a venue which has acrobats tickling the ceiling somehow seems deficient. The troupe would also benefit from a wrapaound stage venue.

Our hotel showed tickets ranging from 180-480 RMB. Frankly, all seats are good. We were 4 seats away from VIP seats ( a bit of an oxymoron in my view, given the venue and paid 85 each. Go to one of the discounters. Thechinaguide.com offered the rates we paid. I booked two hours before the performance with another discounter, Dragon Wang (thanks to TA review posted earlier today!) and was offered these three tickets. I can't imagine better seats orth aying more for. See Beijingguid.com.cn mob 013552527373. I will use him tomorrow to book Kung Fu tickets.

Great value for n hour's entertainment.

“You Won't Be Disappointed”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Amazing performances in an hour. You may choose the 5.30pm or 7.30pm show. The highlight of the show is definitely the last performance. 5 motorcycles spinning inside a wire sphere at high speed. I wished all 8 motorcyclist were in there instead of 5.
We feel lucky to get good seats at discounted price. My tour guide helped us to save a lot on ticket fare. Compared to Kung Fu show, this show is much much more entertaining and worth the money.

“Still a fun show to which to take visiting families”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

With television and Olympic gymnastics, and spectacular acrobatic shows like Cirque du Soleil, you would think kids would find a simple theatre acrobatics show boring. Perhaps it is the proximity of the stage, or the fact they are above you rather than below you, or the fact that they are still quite ambitious in the act, but we find kids on a visit to Beijing still love going to this show.
