Our 4-year-old enjoyed the park (including some of the amusement rides) as did we, but she enjoyed the other parks in Beijing more. This park lacked the small man-made rocky hills and ponds that she lived climbing around elsewhere and, with a few very pleasing exceptions around one lake area, the park often lacked the strong aesthetic design that other Beijing parks show. Also, despite the park having the amusement rides, there were actually fewer Chinese children just playing around with balls for our daughter to play with.
