This is a fine hotel and a good value. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The service at the front desk was responsive and helpful.
Stayed there on business in Beijing. Part of the business was with Beijing Technical University, which is next door. Other meetings were all around the city and then the location was sometimes inconvenient, but then Beijing is a large city and our destinations were scattered all around the city. For those interested in exploring the center of the city or the major landmarks, the hotel is not that convenient.
The room was nice. The reasonably sized bathroom had a great shower. The bed was comfortable and the room layout worked well. The desk was small, but okay to work on a laptop on.
The front desk service and the assistants were very helpful. I got to check in well before noon, hours before normal check-in time, after only a few minutes wait. The concierge/bellhops were quite helpful with getting and directing taxis.
Fine hotel and a good value, but its location should be looked at carefully in the context of travelers' destinations in Beijing.

This is a kind of academic/conference hotel, located close to Beijing Univerisity of Technology.
Probably the main disadvantage of the hotel is its location – it is outside of the city center, and coming there from e.g. city center can take you quite some while (over an hour by taxi during the rush hour). Also, the nearby neighborhood is still somewhat dull.

The hotel has been built 2-3 years ago, and it seems that clear practices are not implemented. For example, the lobby bar (which unfortunately works only till midnight) is very cold, while the rooms are overheated. The receptionist has said that breakfast is served till 10:30, but in reality the buffet closes at 10:00. There is a lounge on 11th floor, but it is always closed. And so on.

Otherwise, the standards of the room are fine and correspond the rating in quality.

This Hotel was lovely and clean and the rooms were well fitted. Luxurious silk duvets on the bed and nice and quiet. The staff were great it must be one of the best hotels in Beijing. It is certainly up to European standards.

I stayed at Gongda Jianguo Grand hotel for five days. The room was clean and neat. All of the staff I'd encountered were very friendly and accomodating, ready to help. The hotel was conveniently located if you would like to visit the Great Wall. It's a very reasonalbe price of the hotel compare the others in Beijing. I'd stay again definitely.

I stayed at the Gongda Jianguo Grand Hotel as part of a conference at the neighbouring Beijing University of Technology. This is one of the best non-western-chain hotels that I have stayed at in China. The hotel is modern and clean, and the rooms are very comfortable. There isn't much English language choice on the TV, and the gym is tiny, but overall this is a nice hotel. The location isn't great if you are planning to visit attractions in central Beijing, but it is reasonably close to the airport and is on the right side of the city to visit the Great Wall. I would stay here again.
