“Chinese New Years Day (Feb. 10, 2013)”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

This was the place to be on New Year's Day!!! It looked as though all of Beijing was there. The park was crowded to say the least, so I did not get to see much of the park. It was 10 RMB to get into the park, which is a little less than $2. There are a lot of vendors selling all kinds of stuff, food, entertainment, rides for the kids, and games. If you want to buy food, you have to push your way through a crowd to get there, but don't lose sight of the people you came with. If you don't understand Chinese, good luck at guessing what kind of meat you're buying. This park is definitely worth checking out during the Spring Festival Temple Fair season!

“nice quiet place”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

this is a great park to stroll around, some ancient architecture throughout, very inexpensive entrance ticket, also within walking distance from the lama temple and some great restaurants. the south gate is right next to a multilevel dim sim place that could be combined with a trip to the park.

“A rather boring park.”
Reviewed April 2, 2012

Nothing much to do nor see in the park, just have a nice walk, see some old Chinese dancing.
We couldn't be bothered with the temple in the middle of the park.
