Jenny Lou's (Now called Jenny Wang's) is fabulous for imported goods. I was disappointed that they don't carry Dr. Pepper, but I've been able to find most anything else I need there. The prices are high because import taxes are high.

And whilst it is a very good supermarket if you are an expat in Beijing, don't go here expecting to sit down for dinner. Bewildering entry on this list.

On the plus side, it does sell Irn Bru, and has lots of locations around the city. It's just not a restaurant.

For most westerners, you will feel home when you walk in Jenny Lou's. You can find almost everything home. Lots of importaed groceries, some local things too. resonable price. Very good place for western groceries.

Jenny Lou's is an ok place to shop for western groceries however if you can find someplace else to buy western food, then do so. I was there a couple of weeks ago and agree that generally, the selection if fine. However, I was very unhappy with the service, and many items were out of stock. Climbing the stairs to the 2nd floor is 'interesting'. There are other, cleaner places in Beijing that have a larger collection of cheeses and cold meats - like BHG and April Gourmet. It also depends on where you live in relation to these places. Carrying heavy bags of groceries isn't particularly fun on the subway system in Beijing.
