My husband and I love cycling and try to do a bike tour in cities when we visit. We did the Night Tour. The tour guide was friendly. We expected that the tour would include a bike light, given the tour was at night. Unfortunately, we were informed that people don't use bike lights. Towards the end of the trip, it was really dark and felt unsafe riding without a light. Our group was large (total of 9 tourists). This was too big of a group. It was difficult to keep up as a group and only the person with our guide could hear his comments on various spots. The tour felt rushed as didn't get a chance to stop and take pictures of the Hutongs. We stopped for 30 minutes to go get drinks and food (which no one in the group seemed interested in doing). We made 4-5 stops, but I would have preferred to stop a bit more for pictures and to ask questions. Since the group was so big, you couldn't ask the guide questions unless you were riding next to him.
Overall, I would likely not recommend the night tour. The night tour definitely needs bike lights added and smaller groups.

We did a hike and bike excursion to the Great Wall with our children aged 18 and 24. Fantastic experience. The biking was beautiful. The support van followed closely behind us so if any of us had wanted to bail we could have. We have been to the Wall many times but for the hike they took us to a new section we had not previously explored. As per their promises, there were no tourists. Allan our guide spoke fantastic English and was very knowledgeable about the Wall. He encouraged us to push ourselves and walk further than we would have on our own. The driver was excellent. All in all a fantastic experience which we highly recommend.

My 17 year old son and I stopped into Bike Beijing and rented a couple of e-bikes. What a great way to see Beijing. We rode all over the streets of Beijing right along side of the locals on their scooters and bikes.

The e-bikes were great. No need to pedal just zip along and enjoy the scenery.

The coffee shop there at Bike Beijing is a great spot as well. The laid back atmosphere is a nice place to grab an expresso or Coke and chat with some locals or fellow travelers. The shop owner and attendants speak great English. My son, Carson picked up the community guitar and played some tunes for the guests. The two Chinese girls at the checkout counter were kind enough to help Carson sharpen his budding Mandarin skills and even taught us a traditional Chinese song.

You can’t go wrong grabbing a bike from here to enhance your experience in Beijing.
