This beautiful hotel was home for four nights while we toured Beijing. It was comfortable luxury with plentiful and friendly staff who often spoke enough English to easily accommodate our requests.

The location is within a 40 minute walk to the Forbidden City and Tian en Men square and several malls. Taxi rides are cheap if you don't wish to walk. It is half a block from the Beijing Train Station.

Our suite was very clean. We felt very safe at all times while in Beijing and this hotel.

The Bistro food was not particularly good and the service was a bit slow, but it was definitely convenient. We did not try the other restaurant options in the hotel. The coffee was sub-par so we walked to Starbucks close by.

Wifi in the lobby was useful but it would have been nice to have it in the room without an additional charge.

Overall, you will enjoy your stay here.

Lovely hotel centrally located for all of our Beijing siteseeing and pick up points for the Great Wall. The hotel concierge being staffed by knowledgeable staff, friendly and helpful. Fantastic open plan areas and a wonderful central bar and easy chair and table arrangement with well priced meals served by smart, efficient and friendly staff. Outside within metres of the hotel parts of the wall were floodlit creating an interesting entrance.
The room on the third floor was quiet and we'll equipped as with a five star hotel. Would recommend a stay.

Room Tip: Select one of the lower floors so not dependant on peak time elevator use

I travelled with my daughter(5yrs) and son (11mths)....after the long flight it was such a pleasure to be in a lovely, large room with club access(it rocks)! This is a good value for money, modern and comfortable biz hotel. To ensure mobility - the train station is within 7mns walking distance. Though, we had the lounge access we wanted to try the buffet downstairs, which was nice.....the only negative was the stewardess asking my daughter to keep back the fruit( a tad rudely) she wanted to carry back to our room...we travelled extensively and carry a fruit back is normally allowed and acceptable. After that, we stuck to the lounge... which was an experience par excellence. Our room had two large King beds....you'll be surprised hw much place kids need! The room overlooked the Beijing Station and it was really nice to see trains chug in and out, actually therapeutic! The lounge breakfast spread is not as huge as the general buffet downstairs but, it has the best of what' really required. The head stewardess always had my son' porridge ready before we went to the lounge, which was a comfort. With the lounge one can have, B/f....eat lunch at a nearby mall...local food is quite good if you have a decent palate....the cocktails/high tea starts at 6pm till 7:30pm.....so if you graze on heavy snacks u could skip dinner and probably go up for a glass of warm milk before retiring.

Stayed there for a conference at the Beijing International Hotel recently and found this hotel very conveniently located. It was walking distance to the conference hotel, and had a very nice breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean and comfy and staff at the reception desk very helpful in finding directions to restaurants or sights.

This hotel was lovely. The week before we stayed here, we had stayed at the JW Marriott Beijing on business. The Marriott City Wall was 98% equal to the JW in all aspects, with exception of the price, which was definitely lower. The staff were wonderful, spoke flawless English, and were more than accommodating. We upgraded to Executive Level, which was more than worth the additional $55 per day. Breakfast is "continental", however, it offers just about as much choice as most restaurants. We enjoyed their evening cocktail hour, from 5:00 to 9:30, as well as the enormous selection of "appetizers". Lovely hotel! Would definitely stay there again.
