It is a nice atypical place in the Hutong. Restaurant is air conditionned and a roof top ( to warm in August). Food is more occidental than Chinese but after some days with Chinese food, you can find here some good European beer and salads.
Music is nice and cool. Only thing to be improved is the noise of the mixer ( mixing fruits for cocktails). Not cheap but reasonable price for a lovely quote flowered place. Strongly recommended to escape from other touristic restaurant of this hutong Street.

The hostel is easy to locate and situated in a safe location. Direction was very clearly written on their website, just remember to take the correct exit from the train station and the hostel is just another 5 mins walk from the train station.
One of the best thing about the hostel is the location where it was situation along the Hutong street where all the eateries and fancy little shops are at, you will not have any problems getting your stomach filled up even if you arrive late.
Another commendable thing is their restaurant and their staff at the reception. They are always there with a smile and even assist to organized my 'Great Wall of China' tour at 1230am as I have limited time spent in China. Checking in and out is a breeze.

Me and my friend were in for 6 nights here, amazing location with many nearby restaurants, shopping places and room with attached private bathroom was very spacious and comfortable too....they have a cafe attached with discount of 10% offered if you are staying in the hostel, very delicious food options for breakfast, lunch etc....
Highly recommended with reservation to stay in Beijing at this place with English speaking friendly staff and most importantly fast wifi...

Room Tip: AC with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms and accessories

Me and my parents chose this Spot by chance for lunch in the middle of the hutong hectic street. The choice couldn't have been better.

Perfect atmosphere in the rooftop. Had fresh fruit juices, delicious salads and mains and coffee with dessert.
The atmosphere, music, flowers, people around and good service left us so satisfied that we came back the following day for dinner.

Absolutely recommend it for any meal or just sit for a coffee with your laptop.

Stayed here for 4 days and had zero complaints, in fact it was great!
To begin with the staff were friendly, helpful and many spoke English.

The restaurant had a very European offer, which doesn't mean it was great. The breakfast for example had room for improvement.

The rooms are clean and not too old. The overall atmosphere is great. The terrace looked lovely and was a great place to have a drink or spent the rest of the evening ( unfortunately closes at 24)
Overall hostel is full of flowers and general cosiness is present.

However it is overpriced. I have been to multiple hostels around china including shanghai, where prices are definitely not kind, thus I do have a comparison with local alternatives. The restaurant as well. Portions are small, yet costly.
Thus a great hostel, which however is not very will priced.
