“One of the nicest hotels in Beijing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2010

This beautiful hotel added icing onto the cake from the moment we walked into the lobby when we were greeted by the wonderful front desk staff of Weiny and Hellan. Jon, the Food and Beverage Manager took care of our hunger pangs and Kenny the Manager provided us with great rooms. Thank you all for everything.

Given a party of 52 stranded in Beijing they went to extraordinary lengths to accomodate. John (Catering manager) was outstanding and the facilities and rooms were excellent. As highly recommended as I am able to.

Stranded in Beijing by the volcano, Double Tree Hilton came to our rescue. Fifty-three of us were faced with moving at short notice from our servicable but not very suitable Chinese business hotel to another of the same - with a group of children for 13 to 16, here until further notice, we knew we needed something different. It is smart, clean with the most helpful staff and the best breakfast i have ever had in any hotel in the world. The pool, gym and spa are a bonus, as is the supermarket complex and handy cafes which are in the same block. However possibly the favourite thing with staff and students alike, in polluted Beijing and missing the English countryside , was the garden on Floor 3.
Yes, it is a hike to the subway, but taxis are cheap as chips, just take a hotel card out with you. This has all the major destinations on it, if you want anywhere the concierge will write it out for you.
Thanks so much for the rescue, esp to Jon, Jeremy and Vlad. At least eleven out of ten!

This hotel was an incredible experience and made my trip better. The rooms are so modern and stylish, yet also comfortable. It is walkable to a mall, which was nice. The spa area was amazing and the service was good. I would deffinately recommend and go back!

As it was my first experience to visit Beijing, and also under business negotiation, I had a very difficult time during the stay, however the team on the executive floor did everything they could to treat me like a family and really felt at home(RELIEVED). The service is basically "not too much" but means a lot to you, and you may experience Beijing Hospitality.
There is a free shuttle running 3 times a day and the first stop is Fuxingmen Stantion, which is for both line 1 and 2, meaning you can almost go anywhere (there is currently no pick ups for your return, so you'll need to either get on the taxi, bus or on foot).
The hotel is not brand new (assuming), though the rooms are kept clean for sure.
Currently my BEST BUY staying over 50 or more Hiltons.

The stay here was beyond our expectations. We were upgraded to a corner room on the club floor. The service and food there was more then adequate. We especially appreciated the help from the girls at the service desk. As previously mentioned, we tried the Peking duck. The duck was cooked to perfection and the service and presentation was extremely professional. We would highly recommend not to miss. The biggest drawback is the distance from the main part of the city. However, with such low cab fares, the distance was hardly a problem. Great place to stay and would definately return.

Thank you very much for sharing with the tripadvisor.com community your experience during your recent stay with us. It gives us great pleasure to know that you were pleased with the services provided by the ladies at the Executive Floor Lounge and for the delicious taste of the Peking Duck at our Sui Yuan Restaurant. We will certainly share your comments to our team members as motivation for them to continue providing their perfect “10” level of service. Further, we are pleased to inform you that we have started the free shuttle service from our hotel to the nearest subway station. This should make it more convenient for you to get around town the next time you stay with us.
Once again, thank you for your patronage and we look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you back in the hopefully not too distant future.

Yours truly,

hard to believe this hotel has just opened less than two years, from elevator to my room, lot of places either damaged or need repair or already repaired. Shoud say they must have a very high occupancy for past times but didn't do a good job maintaining it.

locaiton is not bad, close to city center, but as mainly residential area, hard to find a taxi especially during rush hours, I go out every morning around 9:30am but still needs to wait for minutes or walk a long way out for taxi. Only food for my colleagues from Europe is the Papa John's pizza, of course, hotel restaurant, unless you can enjoy what local Chinese eats.

Hotel service is good, love their cookies.

Hotel internet is really slow at night. Hotel wall is not so good on sound proof, my colleagues can hear each other watching TV in neibouring rooms. and neighbour showering (luckily for me I work very late, so my neighbour next door showing at 1:00am does not bother me that much)
