The food was awsome..friendly and proffessional hotel staff.good location. Facilities were all that I needed for my short stay there. The room I stayed in was clean...I could see that from my eyes as Executive Housekeeper because thats my proffession. I recommend it....
We spent there just one night after getting to Mombasa in March. You can spent there one night or two but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.
The room is simple, not too big, with bed, wardrobe and bathroom. The bed was ok, big and comfortable.
The place is not very clean, and the bathroom definitely needs renovation. Our toilet broke twice during one night and started to flood the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower is really pour.
The staff is nice and very helpful. They came immediately when they heard the water leak. They helped us with everything they could, even preparing breakfast for us at 4.30 am, in total darkness with no electricity (there was a blackout in Mombasa in the morning).
So if you just need a cheap place to get some sleep you can take it but not if you need more.
This Hotel is Good with reasonable price compared with others in Mombasa , Rooms are clean and the service is good and people are friendly , the restaurant offers good meals and HALAL food , it's pretty good and i recommend
The Glory Grand Hotel has been "rebranded" and is now called the Regency Park Hotel. This made it difficult to find at first: it is still listed under its old name in the newest version of the Lonely Planet! The hotel offers excellent value for money: the rooms are clean, pleasant and quiet, the staff is very friendly. We had a triple room for 5900 Ksh and a single for 2900 KSh, which included an excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, fried egg and toast. It is centrally located and has its own reastaurant (Sizzling Flames). They don't serve alcohol but it's easy to pop over to the bar of the neighbouring Dorse Hotel for a cold Tusker. Recommended!
