This is a nice little place, looking at it form the outside you may just drive by, But don't go in for a meal, staff are great.
I think the price of the food is a bit high for what you get, But there is a lot of food on the plate,

After of month of fresh and wonderful seafood, it was time to seek some great red meat. Friends suggested Hunters and after a check on TA, it was off to Hunters. The taxi was a little challenged finding it, but at last tucked away on a side street I was there. Very nice setting and very quiet as a very heavy rain night. Wait staff was friendly and warm with a twinkle in the eye and most professional. On the menu blackboard for specials, it was noted as having veal liver on offer, but alas they were out. Veal and pork liver are two of my favorites and when in Germany, that is what I look for. And here in Minnesota in a couple of German places run out of liver very fast so it makes me wonder why not more is being offered.

At any rate, ordered the chateaubriand and it was just short of fantastic, cut with a fork and melt in your mouth. Had German pan fried potatoes and the best potatoes I had in Kenya.
Had to try the dessert of fresh strawberries and cream and also ice cream and again, almost the best dessert I had in Kenya.

Enjoyed the meal so much, I had to come back two days later hoping to score the calves liver, but still out. I hope they put it on the menu full time as so hard to fine.

Sure expensive to a degree above most places in Kenya, but in the big picture of world restaurants, more than fair of and of great value. The old adage that you get what you pay for is so true here.

I very much look forward to a return visit and hope the owner sees this and might put veal or calves liver on the menu.

Absolutely fantastic steaks. Restaurant was hard to find because of the odd location. Waiters were dressed like soldiers and decorated with animal skins and such. Although steaks were great and tasty, do not expect lot from potatoes and vegetables. They clearly focus on the meat itself. Also desserts were worth tasting.
