We saw a leopard on a tree and we were lucky enough to watch four lionesses and three cubs eating a fresh hunt. In the evening safari we were able to explore a massive variety of hippopotamus and a crocodile.

Thank you for visiting Mara Triangle,we don't deliver a product, but we deliver an experience.
Amazing experience during a game drive towards Mara Serena ...
Plenty of game to start with and the first one and then a second lion kill with three females on a wildebeest.
Our driver was able to get close to it to capture the scene on phone video.
Then, suddenly a hyena arrived, nosing around before withdrawing some distance.
At that stage the hyena began to call and within minutes did two, five, ten and eventually about 15 hyenas arrive.
In a coordinated attack did they chase the lions off the kill and then settled down themselves on the 'dinner table' ...
That was a spectacular sight, which in over 40 years of living in East Africa and going on safari I have never seen before.
Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory.its time for a new adventure...
I have visited Mara Reserve a few times, and love the cats and river crossings. This time they had just had the worst rains in decades... Mara Reserve was a disaster — trucks even bogged down on the main roads and they were shocking to negotiate.
Fortunately we crossed the Mara river into Mara Triangle... another world!
The roads were in an excellent condition, there was far less traffic, and the scenery was like a mini Serengeti 😀
We only saw 1 lion in 2 days, but that was due to the wet side roads — 16 lions were chewing an elephant 🐘 5 km from our lodge — some Landcruisers went off-road and were stuck 6 hours in the mud🤪😂 even a 6X6 got stuck🤣🤪😂 A tractor pulled them out👍
The view from Mara Engai lodge on the escarpment (special cliff-face lunch) reminded of Ngorongoro Crater!
Accommodation is very limited and exorbitant in Mara Triangle, but doing our safari in the low season gave us fantastic accommodation at the same quoted rates to rough it in Serengeti in little bow tents, mattresses and sleeping bags!
Mara Triangle is worth visiting, even if just for the scenery!
Thank you for rating us and visiting Mara Triangle. We value our environment and any vehicles that get stuck we ensure we pull them out to avoid damaging our environment.
My room in Mara Serena gave me the chance to wake up the the serene view of the Mara Triangle... It was just soo breathtaking to see animals like Thomson's gazelles, zebra's, giraffe's and many grazing in the Savannah... We could also hear the Lion's roaring and it was all such a beautiful experience
Life is meant for spectacular adventures, let your eyes marvel and your soul ignite.thank you for rating us and visiting Mara Triangle.
We have now been to the Mara 3 times over many years, staying at different camps and in widely diverse locations, and in our experiences this is one of the great places in Africa to see a large variety of different wild animals, although our focus is on seeing cheetahs who love the open plains. (Incidentally, we go to Zambia for leopards ….. and lions are 'everywhere'.) A visit to this game reserve is highly recommended for the experience, but choose your accommodation / tour company carefully.
Africa at its best! it changes you forever like nowhere on earth.Thank you for rating us,its time for a new adventure in Mara Triangle.
Good abundance of wildlife including lions and their prey. Very picturesque too. The wildlife inside the triangle is more abundant than outside.
Thank you for rating us.We work towards conserving our wildlife with the help of our professional rangers who provides security for the wildlife to prevent poaching around Mara Triangle.
