We were in the mara as the Wildebeest migration was about to turn back towards Tanzania. We remember the stench of rotting carcases and a huge crocodile lurking half hiden on the river bank - not for the faint hearted

The view of hippos ranging from adult to baby with their accompanying noise was GREAT!!!!! There was an abundance of crocodiles 'lurking' about with a constant threat for the herbivores trying to drink. With minimal patience...and if inclined...a kill could be witnessed.
