I cannot fault Rekero camp, site, accommodation, nor the staff & guide. All were fantastic! The tent was a dream, the food heavenly & plentiful, our Maasai guide, Martin, was so knowledgeable, his English so good & his manner so polite. He knew about everything, plants, birds, animals, habitat, & more, I learned SO MUCH! We even discussed philosophy... hmmmm. I saw all the Big 5 + much much more. I have incredible memories & astounding photos! I loved every minute of my 4 days there & would LOVE to go back ...

Room Tip: Every tent was totally wonderful! Lounge rooms had sofas & books, lunch was outside, dinner inside ... all of it was Bliss !

We stayed Sept for 3 nights. Every single camp guide and employee called us by name.
That is with people coming and going daily they remember our names! most impressive.
Spacious tents, and the shower buckets were great! I was afraid I would run out fo water, but never once did.
Beautiful setting on the river, great rooms, and super attentive staff!
Very good food.
The animal sightings were of course fantastic! Watched the Migration at several points, and it is just amazing.
I would definitely return here.

Room Tip: Tent #1 is closest to the main dining room, but all are along the river.

My husband and I have just returned from an amazing 3 night stay at Rekero, joined by 4 other friends. It was our first time to Kenya and we couldn't have found a more magical, amazing place to stay than here! The setting was absolutely beautiful right by the river, so you didn't have to travel very far to see some amazing animals; we even saw a leopard one afternoon just on the other side (luckily) of the river. The tents are very luxurious; with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, as well as the luxury of a flushing loo and amazing shower that gets filled up with lovely hot water as and when you want a shower. All the staff were absolutely delightful and couldn't do enough to please us. The food was amazing and very international, and the drinks and wine all went down a treat too!! The game drives that we went on first thing in the morning and then again at 4pm were absolutely incredible, and the guides had so much knowledge and respect of their land and wildlife - we all learnt so much. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this camp to anybody - you couldn't fail to have the most incredible time.

This was our third visit to the camp and that says it all. On this visit we saved the camp till last. Nothing wrong with the others but Rekero just seems that bit special. I put it down to the lack of fences and that "back to nature" feel which is not really compared to Masai dwellings but to us westerners just right. Again food service game viewing all top notch

This was the last stop on our African Safari honeymoon. Fantastic location, great staff and an overall wonderful experience. It is situated right on the river and you can be assured that wildlife will wander the camp, especially at night. The tents were great, bucket showers much better than expected and the food good. The location is far enough away from the big camps to feel a bit isolated but great access to all the good game viewing. The camp managers, Clea and Conway couldn't have been more welcoming and gracious. It was perfect.

Room Tip: Tent 4 was perfect.
