I spent two nights at Sand River, highly recommend. The tents are comfortable and you can hear lots of wildlife during the night. The food was incredible and the staff were all very accommodating. Our game drives were exciting, the guide (Alex) was extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend!More

What a magical place. The setting along the banks of Sand River is idyllic. The camp, staff and food were all outstanding. Outdoor shower a new experience, we had elephant walking past and baboons playing while showering

We spent 3 nights at Sand River in February and despite the restriction of COVID, we were able to enjoy the full experience and felt very safe throughout our stay! The staff were incredible and everyone took amazing care of us. The accommodation was 1st class, the food was amazing and the Game Drives exceeded our expectations!. Shoutout to the head guide Joel who showed us all the wonders of the Masai Mara. We are already planning our next trip to Sand River and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience a true Safari out in the wild!

We just got home to the US from a belated honeymoon to the Masai Mara. Our first stop was at Sand River and we were blown away from the minute we arrived. The game drives, food, tents are all amazing, but what really stood out to us was the staff. They go above and beyond in every way. Special shout out to our wonderful guide, Joel, Dennis, Moses, Thorburn, Maurice, and the chef Shaban. Really everyone at the camp. We will be counting down the days until we can return! Picked up from the airport and a great ride to the camp. Luxurious place hence glamping. The washroom had a rug!
Lovely rooms-sorry tents. Thoughtful welcoming gift of sanitizers, mask and water bottles.
Meals were delicious and game rides were guided by expert guide. Highlight was seeing lionesses with Cubs.
